Note there is another Other Half Brewing Co location in Brooklyn, too! Although in the same borough, the beers in their Brooklyn breweries differ between the two locations.

They also have another location across the river in Manhattan, New York. Stop by their Rockefeller Center location if you are hanging out in Midtown.

Last time I was in Brooklyn, I stopped in at the Radegast Hall & Biergarten which has authenic German beer and food. It’s right off North 3rd Street.

About Other Half Brewing Company

Sam Richardson, Matt Monahan, and Andrew Burman founded Other Half Brewing Company in Brooklyn, NY, in 2014. Their simple mission was to create beers at a company they wanted to be a part of.

They have locations across New York as well as across the East Coast. Although their various locations share some beers, the other half team made it a point to have unique beers at each location. Be sure to try around each of their sites!

Seating

Other Half Brewing Company has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy some good beers, depending on the season. If you are looking to beat the cold or heat, there is plenty of seating inside the taproom with space to spread out.

If you want to soak up the sun and enjoy the view of the East River, feel free to grab a bench seat or bar stool. If it weren’t 100 degrees when my daughter and I were there, I would’ve absolutely sat outside.

Beers

When it comes to beer, Other Half Brewing Company has plenty of variety. They have both in-house brews and beers that were collaborated with other breweries. It is nice to see the brewery dedicated to collaborating with breweries! I need to see this more at my local breweries in Connecticut!

Over the summer, I always enjoy an excellent IPA, so naturally, I wanted to drink a double IPA. Their One Way of Doing Things hit the spot to cool off from the summer heat with just the right amount of hop.

Be sure to visit the Other Half Brewing Company website for the latest beer they have on tap at their Domino Park location. We have another trip to Brooklyn for our daughter, and I hope their BA Pastrinauts is still on tap!

Since my last visit, they also rolled out a non-alcoholic beer. I must take some home to keep me in check for my marathon training! I have needed to stock up on Athletic Brewing Company non-alcoholic beers, given the lack of non-alcoholics in Connecticut.
