Featuring 10 rotating taps, you will always find a good beer at Milk and Hops for a casual drink. What I enjoy about the tap list is it consists of locally sourced downstate NY beer!

Be sure to talk to your server at the bar for recommendations. They provide great service in steering you in the right direction. They helped my wife find the right sour to pair with our food.

As you walk toward the bathroom, enjoy this great sign. If you follow me on Untappd, you know ‘Magic in Every Drop’ is my motto for craft beers! If you don’t have the time to run around the city, make a trip to Milk and Hops to shop for your magic.

I got lucky with my first beer at Milk and Hops. I got the Scissor Door by Grimm Artisanal Ales right before the keg kicked. This Brooklyn-sourced double IPA hit the spot when we stopped in during the recent heat wave.

Our personal favorite app was the Charcuterie Board. Brought out with super prompt service, this board provides enough food for two.

It was hard not to eat it too quickly! My wife and I had to formally split the board up because I wanted to eat all of her favorite parts. Next time, I will have to get a charcuterie board to myself.

If you are looking for something light and healthy, the salads are also good. The chicken caesar salad gave me just enough energy to run with my daughter on the Hudson River Greenway.

Take Home Beer Selection

One of my favorite aspects of Milk and Hops in Chelsea is their excellent and extensive collection of beer. With shelves and coolers stacked full with beer, there is something for everyone to bring home to family and friends.

All bottles and cans are organized by style and region. If you look like you are struggling, the friendly staff will come over to help!

It was nice to see a lot of the local breweries in New England show up on their shelves. Don’t be surprised if you see beer from your local area.
