New Shoreham (Block Island)

Block Island is a great spot for a coastal getaway. The island’s bluffs, beaches, and winding paths offer stunning views and a slower pace of life. Charming shops, local seafood, and the sound of the ocean make New Shoreham a memorable place to visit. I like going to visit the two lighthouses on the island, but there’s also an animal farm that’s worth checking out.

Charlestown

Charlestown, Rhode Island offers a quiet coastal experience with beautiful beaches and open landscapes. The town is known for its relaxed atmosphere, scenic salt ponds, and uncrowded shoreline. Charlestown has a lot of unique things to do from visiting The Fantastic Umbrella Factory with a bamboo forest and shopping to exploring Ninigret Park, which is home to two of Thomas Dambo trolls and an observatory.

Jamestown

Jamestown, Rhode Island provides a peaceful island escape with scenic views of Narragansett Bay. Jamestown feels calm and charming, making it a great place to slow down and enjoy the coast. I love going for the historic sites such as Beavertail Lighthouse and the Jamestown Windmill.

Bristol

Bristol, Rhode Island is rich with history and small-town charm. The town is known for its beautiful harbor, scenic walking paths, and deep-rooted traditions. Strolling through Bristol offers a mix of colonial character, local shops, and peaceful coastal views. Some historic sites to check out are Blithewold Manor and The Coggeshall Farm Museum. If you’re looking for somewhere to go for a walk, check out Colt State Park. Oh, and you can stay in the lighthouse in the photo, Bristol Ferry Lighthouse.

Narragansett

Narragansett, Rhode Island has classic beach-town charm and beautiful ocean views. The town’s sandy beaches, historic seawall, and iconic towers create a perfect coastal setting. There are also plenty of great restaurants to check out in the area! Be sure to check out Point Judith Lighthouse while you’re in the area.

warwick

Warwick, Rhode Island offers a mix of coastal scenery and suburban charm. The city’s bays, marinas, and waterfront parks provide plenty of places to relax and enjoy the water. With historic villages and local restaurants, Warwick feels welcoming and easy to explore. The most popular park to check out is Rocky Point State Park, but I love going to Conimicut Point Park to see Conimicut Lighthouse.
