10 Gifts to get Your Friend That Loves Road Trips
Let’s just start this off by saying that I do a lot of road trips. These are all things that I’ve found useful along the way as well as things that are just great to have in the car for emergencies. Here are some things that someone who road trips would love to have!
A Phone Mount For The Car

While some of you might be saying “cars have GPS and ApplePlay in them now, why would they need this?” Well, not all of us have fancy car radios! I love my CD slot phone mount because it makes my phone block less of my windshield. But, the ones that you can mount to the windshield or top of the dash are also great options.
Car Battery Jump Starter

A good thing to get them to keep in the car is a portable car battery jump starter. This is something that can be a lifesaver on the road. This portable car battery jumper can also be used as a power bank for devices and it has a flashlight and an emergency window breaker.
emergency Blanket

Another great safety item you can get them is an emergency blanket to keep in their car. While you hope they’ll never find themselves in a situation where they’ll need it, it’s better to be prepared.
Car Fridge

We did a lot of traveling when I was growing up for wrestling tournaments. We traveled around the country and we used a car fridge that you could plug right into your car. It’s great to have for long road trips.
A Car Trash Can

I used to be guilty of shoving trash into the sides of my car when I was on road trips because I never remembered to grab a bag to use for my trash. This car trash can has been a game changer. This makes a great addition to any car!
A Lumbar Pillow

You’d be shocked by how many people do not have adequate lumbar support in their car. Long hours in a car with no back support can be painful. This lumbar support pillow is a great gift for people go on long road trips.
Car Power Inverter

This car inverter is a great item to have for road trips. It gives users the ability to charge a laptop, a camera battery charger, and other devices that you can’t typically charge via a regular car charging port.
A First Aid Kit

A first-aid kit might be the last thing on their mind when planning an adventurous road trip. However, it’s really important to have a first-aid kit in the car just in-case something does happen! This mini first aid kit doesn’t take up a lot of space, making it great for travel.
Car Roadside Emergency Kit

While I’ve already mentioned some other safety related items in this post, this catch-all car roadside emergency kit has a lot of items that can be helpful in the case of an emergency. This is definitely something to consider getting your friends who are always on the road!
Portable Air Compressor

This portable air compressor is pretty handy for road trips. Many people keep one of these in their emergency bags in their car. It works well to inflate tires and it also can be used as a power bank for other devices.
