Buckskinner Park in Williams AZ

When most people think of Williams, Arizona, they think of the historic Route 66. However, there’s much more to explore than just the historic highway! When we visited, we discovered Buckskinner Park.

Buckskinner Park is located just outside of downtown Williams. It’s a short 5 minute drive from the heart of town. The park is in the Kaibab National Forest. There is a decent sized dirt lot by the reservoir to park at.

This park is a great place for hiking and enjoying nature. The most popular hike is the loop around the lake. The hike features great views of the lake, pines and oaks, and the surrounding mountains while you’re not in the forested area.

Other things to do at the park are fishing, picnicking, and enjoying wildlife. There's something for everyone at this lesser known park!
