It was definitely worth braving the cold for the sunrise!! Also, Yale University is absolutely worth a visit if you’re ever in the area.

It looks so cozy and comfortable. I would love to sit there and just read. You may have been very cold, but the sunrise pictures are beautiful. The food looks delicious and I would love to visit the book cafe and the libraries on Yale campus.

I personally haven’t hiked this trail in the winter, but I have hiked other Connecticut trails in the winter. If we have had snow, the trails definitely will get icy after getting packed down by hikers. I always keep micro spikes in my hiking bag just in case.
