Not sure which of the various hikes to do while you’re at Crater Lake National Park? Definitely put Cleetwood Cove Trail on your list!
The Cleetwood Cove Trail is the only footpath that takes you directly to the waters of Crater Lake. This is a well maintained trail with intermediate/moderate inclines.
The walk down is about a mile. The well-shaded path takes you through beautiful pine trees.
After about a mile, you’ll make it to the waters of Crater Lake! From there, you can enjoy the beautiful views of the deepest lake in the U.S. from the water’s edge.
At the bottom, there's plenty to do,. You can take a boat tour to Wizards Island, go fishing, and go swimming!
