The Book Barn is such a loved spot here in Connecticut! Gillette Castle is also great – beautiful river views and there’s even a trail down to the river!

I would totally love to visit The Book Barn. It sounds like such a cute little spot to spend an afternoon, especially since there’s cats. I’m also intrigued by the Gillette Castle, I’d love to hike around that park. I guess I have a few more reasons to plan another trip up to New England!

I’ve been visiting Gillette Castle since I was a kid, it’s such a great place to visit! Not only is the castle super cool, but the grounds are also beautiful. It’s so worth a visit.
