In reply to Sonia. Definitely a great extension. Initially we wanted to stay in Vermont by the U.S. / Canada border and visit Quebec, but I'm so glad we changed course to stay in Quebec. We absolutely loved our trip and it made me want to explore Quebec more.

I never think of Quebec in terms of visiting fall foliage, but clearly should change that. I love Vermont in the Fall, and this sounds like a great extension of a Vermont trip.

In reply to Debbi. Honestly, I'd never really thought of going to Quebec for a fall trip until last year. Initially, we were planning to go to the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, but we couldn't find accommodations that we liked in our price range. While looking for accommodations in Newport, Vermont, I saw that there were a ton of options in Quebec that were in the price range of what we were looking to spend. With only going 45 minutes further north, we were able to have a great fall trip that was perfectly suited to us while also getting to spend time in the Northeast Kingdom as well! I hope you're able to experience Quebec in the fall soon :)

I already have my fall roadtrip planned but I’m saving this for next year! I love that it includes stops in the US and Canada

Beautiful. I live in Upstate NY near the Adirondack Mountains and have never thought of going to Quebec in the fall. I will add this to my travel list. I love that you can get the fall foliage and a little bit of history.
