What a fabulously festive experience. I’m not familiar with the Harkness family, but I’d definitely want to spend time visiting that beautiful mansion, especially in its festive glory.

This sounds like such a lovely and festive experience. I didn’t realize Eolia Mansion is decorated for the holidays, and the fact that the tours are free makes it even better. The snow-covered park and docent-led stories about the Harkness family really make this feel like a special seasonal visit. I also love that they accept toy donations and support the Friends of Harkness—it adds a really meaningful community touch to the holiday tour.

I’m not familiar with the Harkness family but now I want to go see their mansion! All of the New England mansions are so pretty around the holidays.

Hello! It’s nice to know that tourists can take a tour, not only travel on their own. In some situations a holiday tour is the best choice!
