Another site worth visiting in CT is Blackstone Memorial Library in Branford, CT. It is a fascinating building with amazing history especially for a town library. You won’t be disappointed!
One more site in CT is the Thimble Islands in Stony Creek. There is an hour boat tour around the islands offered during the Summer months. I believe the boat tours start Memorial Day weekend and run through Labor Day weekend. There is a boat tour schedule with fees listed online.
Remember to visit The Place (outside dining) in Guilford, CT on Route 1. The food is amazing with a fabulous menu. All food cooked outside on a huge fire grill. Check their website for hours of operation. Enjoy!!!
