Acadia National Park looks beautiful! It’s a good idea to visit off-season and avoid the crowds

Both of our Acadia visits were during the peak of summer. Visiting in September though sounds like such a nice change of pace.

In reply to Agnes. Nathan Hale is definitely a fascinating person to learn about! And the guided tour of this house is definitely a must-do for anyone interested in the American Revolutionary War.

What a fascinating place to visit, especially during the 250th anniversary year! I had no idea Nathan Hale was only 21 when he died or that he entered Yale at just 14. It’s also interesting that the current house was built after he had already left home. The guided tour sounds well worth taking for anyone interested in Revolutionary War history.
